Growing up in Alaska instilled in me a deep appreciation for adaptability and resilience qualities that have served me well throughout my 25 year career in finance and accounting. From my early days as a Staff Accountant to my leadership roles as a Chief Financial Officer, I have gained a wealth of experience in both financial strategy and accounting operations. Working with businesses at every stage, from pre revenue startups to publicly traded companies, has provided me with valuable insight into what makes a company successful and what pitfalls to avoid.

My expertise lies in developing repeatable processes and implementing the right level of financial structure to support a company’s growth. I have successfully raised multiple rounds of equity and debt capital, helping business owners articulate their financial drivers to investors and bankers with clarity and confidence. In accounting operations, I focus on streamlining transactions, applying best practices, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency across global teams. Additionally, I work closely with companies to identify key performance indicators that align with their objectives, ensuring that management has the right data to drive informed decision making.

At my core, I am a financial strategist and problem solver. I thrive in collaborative environments, brainstorming in front of a whiteboard to create both a range of options and a clear action plan. My true passion lies in breaking down complex financial topics for business leaders who do not have an accounting background, empowering them to make confident decisions based on meaningful insights.

Success to me is about making an impact both professionally and personally. When I am not helping businesses grow, I enjoy traveling, cooking BBQ, and spending time with my family. Now based in Colorado, I love taking advantage of the great outdoors and embracing new adventures.
